Hey Guys!! I just got back from 5 days in the jungle...we have been working with the Lacandones indians doing mini CI's, showning the Luke film in their language! I wont have any pictures of the church...but we met there at 5 a.m. yesterday and it went till 7. The church was lit by two candles...very awesome to see people following God in the most remote parts of the world.
Last night was sooo awesome...we didnt get back till like 2 a.m. but i wasnt tired so i stayed up and prayed. The Lord made it so clear to me how youth and life is so short and frail. I started to realize the things and intrests in my life were not in the right place at all. It reminded me of a book i just read "The Best Question Ever". I made a goal to honor God and make this one of the most meaningful years of my life. I cant wait to see what He does in my life this year!
A scripture that i have enjoyed reading a lot is Hebrews 12:1-2 "Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
